Sreetama (Sanjoy Mukherjee's daughter) wed Dwaipayan on 2024-01-20

Castrol India colleague Sanjoy Mukhopadhyay's daughter Sreetama (a successful banking professional herself) got married to Dwaipayan at a lovely venue in Jodhpur Park in Kolkata on 2024-01-20 evening. 

The arrangements and the food spread by Sanjoy were too too too good. 

I was present and so were a handful of contacts from the Castrol days dating back to more than 3 decades. 

I wish Sreetama and Dwaipayan a blissful wedded journey in life.

Having 'aloo chop' on 2023-12-19 to boost the GDP of WB

My contribution to the growth of GDP of Waste Bengal by promoting 'telebhaja' (oil fried savories) industry. 

It's because of a Queen Bee's 👑🐝 inspiration that I am having 'aloo chop'. 

আমরা বাঙালিরা পশ্চিমবঙ্গ কে উত্তর প্রদেশ বা গুজরাট বানাতে দেব না।  আমরা  শিল্প হিসেবে তেলেভাজা বা চপ ভাজা বা লালসালুতে দুনিয়ার মজদুর এক হও লেখা অব্দি  ক্যাপিটালিজিম সহ্য করব। আমরা  বাঙালিরা সারা জীবন  কেরানির জাত হয়ে থেকে যেতে চাই। এবং 'এই গরু তোকে ঘাস দিয়ে মারব' বলে আতলামি করে যাব জেনারেশনের পর জেনারেশন।

Tinni (Reema) wed Suryashish Dey on 2023-12-15

Reema (little Tinni for us) got married to her tech school buddy Suryashish at a banquet in Ballygunge Place, Kolkata on Friday 2023-12-15. 

Tinni is my childhood college days friend Joydeep Chattopadhayay (with whom I had bonded since the very first day in St Xavier's College, Kolkata way back during the summers of 1980) and Sudipta Chatterjee 's only daughter. 

Keep smiling and stay blessed, Tinni. 

Your friend Diksha, your Diya kakima and myself wish you a very happy wedded life. 

Dear Sudipta and Joydeep, the arrangements were perfect. The food was too good. 

Meeting Bijit, Nupur, Punyabrata, Sharmistha after ages made the evening even more enjoyable. Overall, 15th December 2023 will be remembered for a long time.
