Fondly remembering an evening well spent with avid Indian Roadie Sandip Hunday at the food street opposite Acropolis Mall, off. Rashbehari Avenue Connector, Kasba, Kolkata on 2024-01-09 (note the date 😊). 

Lots of subjects (not necessarily limited to road travel and automobiles only) were discussed. Learned a lot from this young brother whom I have known for well over 50 years since our days in St Patrick's HS School, Asansol.
Don't miss the chaos of battery operated three wheelers, popularly known as Toto in WB. Operating Totos is one of the most flourishing businesses in WB, starved of industries and the reigning chaos is massively supported by the state 'gorment' 😰!

* Indian Roadie GTG 

My VW Vento 1.6 TDI was fully serviced on 2024-04-22 at the Indian Roadie Preferred Workshop in Kolkata. 

The engine oil and filters were also changed. Mobil 1 5W-40 fully synthetic engine oil is available in 3.5 ltr and 1 ltr sealed containers. The sump capacity of my Vento is 4.3 ltrs. Unfortunately, 1 ltr containers of Mobil 1 5W-40 were out of stock. I had to remain happy with 3.5 ltrs only. 

Due to unforeseen circumstances (not related to the vehicle), the car had barely clocked  kms in the past 5 1/2 months. Now that Durga Puja is round the corner, my preferred workshop sourced a 1 ltr container of Mobil 1 for me. 

I visited the workshop on 2024-10-01 evening, bought the oil and poured it in the car a little before midnight on the same day. 

Needless to mention, I am feeling relieved now.

The Aatmanirbhar Haircut on Saturday 2024-08-24 took me about 30 minutes only. Modiji's call for 'aatmanirbharta' after the outbreak of Covid inspired me to try it out in May 2020 for the first time ever. 

I am feeling happy since I am doing a pretty decent experiment on myself every 75 - 90 days 🤭 

For the records, the previous Aatmanirbhar Haircut was in May 2024. 

Anybody else doing the same?

IR GTG 2023-12-25 @ IA265 - Mohnish Bose, Debosree

The long awaited Indian Roadie GTG with Indian Roadie Mohnish Bose, permanently settled in New Delhi became a reality on Christmas evening (2023-12-25). 

We are separated by a distance of about 1500 kms from each other but get to talk on the phone once in a while. About a month before his arrival in Kolkata for a vacation, he had informed me about his desire to meet me without fail. I too promised to meet him and his wife Debashree. 

We met up at our easy to find regular Indian Roadie Adda Joint, viz. Mio Amore in IA265, Salt Lake. 

He had rented a self drive car from Revv(dot)co(dot)in. Since conveyance was not an issue we could chat on and on and on. 

P.S: The attached photos had gone missing because of a goof-up from my end. A relentless search since the past 8 - 10 days led me to find the photos in my laptop suddenly. 

My earnest apologies to Debashree and Mohnish for the inordinate delay in posting.

Sandip treated us for dinner at The Orient, CC1 on 2024-03-29

Sandip Samanta treated us for dinner at The Orient, City Centre 1, Salt Lake, Kolkata on 2024-03-29. 

Since my VW Vento was not operational because of water pump failure, Sandip picked us up from Beliaghata in his Hyundai Tuscon and again dropped us at around midnight.

Someone in his mid or late 30s with dyed hairs considers it cool and funky to be seen driving around Salt Lake and the Eastern Metropolitan Bypass in Kolkata with family members in this piece of Honda Amaze. 

Will you be keen to be seen zooming around town in this piece of car? 

Inference: Any product (service) and every product (service) is not meant for anybody and everybody. 

This logic holds good for every product and service. 

It's a perfect example to define and describe 'market segmentation' and 'target audience'.
